Hong Kong sounds like an amazing place to visit and live. The best of both worlds — a mix of capitalism held over from British rule, and the influence of mainland China, both the positives and in some cases the negatives. Maybe not such an unusual place for a Canadian expat who grew up observing the tensions between French and English Canada.
